“Opalescent Tom” is an original color pencil portrait on Toned tan paper. This drawing represents Tom Hiddleston with opalescent colors because I see him as an ethereal and very elegant creature. When I thought of doing this portrait, I clearly saw the opal, which is such a magical stone, and I knew that it would suit him perfectly. I added a background with the same colors, but darker so that we can imagine that he emits light himself.

Opalescent Tom is an original drawing made with Faber Castell Polychromos and Caran d’Ache Luminance color pencils, and pastel Posca pens for highlights on a Strathmore paper 118g/m2 (80lb).
