“Stormy spice, Billy Butcher” is an original color pencil portrait on Toned tan paper. This drawing represents Karl Urban in his role of Billy Butcher in The Boys. I chose to draw him with stormy colors to show his very explosive temper, but not only for the violent aspect. Stormy weather is as beautiful as it’s scary, and that’s exactly how this character is. He has as many beautiful sides as he has bad ones, and I didn’t even had to thik long about that color palette. I knew almost instantly how I wanted to represent him.

Stormy spice, Billy Butcher is an original drawing made with Faber Castell Polychromos color pencils and white Posca pens for highlights on a Strathmore paper 118g/m2 (80lb).
