Walking the Witches’ Road

This week, my sketchbook has taken a very clear direction.
Purple pencils, amethysts, quiet magic on my desk… and a new universe opening up.

I’m officially stepping onto Agatha’s path.

I’ve started a new body of work inspired by Agatha All Along, and I already know I’ll be staying in this universe for a while, because I love it, deeply. I’ve always loved Kathryn Hahn, but this role feels like it was written in the stars for her. Mysterious, intense, hypnotic… with just the right dose of dark humor. That inner fire in her gaze, that quiet power, it’s everything I’m drawn to.

My first research sketches are done: Agatha from the posters, hands crossed under her chin, framing her face, and I couldn’t resist giving her galaxy hair. It felt right. Cosmic, magical, alive. And then, a couple of other sketches with intresting poses, just to explore a bit more the character and this color palette.

More sketches are coming next: other poses and expressions, more movement, more exploration, some still raw, still searching, still uncolored. I love this phase where everything is possible.

And honestly… between WandaVision, this new aesthetic, the originality of the show, and The Witches’ Road (which I may or may not have listened to about 20 times), I’m completely enchanted.

✨ A creative ritual inspired by the Witches’ Road

The Witches’ Road is a journey of trials, each witch facing challenges tied to her own gifts. And it made me think:
What if we used that idea for ourselves, right now, at the beginning of the year?

Here’s a gentle, magical creative prompt you can try:

Create a “Witches’ Road” journal page.

• Start with a blank page.
• Ask yourself: What is the thing I need most right now?
(Confidence, rest, clarity, courage, joy, focus…)
• Then: What are the main fears or obstacles standing in the way?

Use collage, drawing, writing, symbols, patterns, anything that feels intuitive. Let it be messy or beautiful, quiet or powerful.

Add one final element:
✨ Write a sentence as if it’s already true.
Something like “I walk this road with confidence.” or “I trust my magic.”

Then invent a personal symbol, something simple, almost sigil-like, that represents this intention.
You can redraw it anytime you doubt, like a small spell to remind yourself that you’re already on the path.

Creativity doesn’t always have to produce finished art. Sometimes it’s here to clear the way.

This Agatha chapter feels like exactly what I need right now: mystery, boldness, magic, and play. I can’t wait to share more sketches, studies, and discoveries with you as this universe unfolds.

If you feel like it, I’d love to see what your Witches’ Road looks like. You can reply to this post, or tag me on Instagram, sharing these moments of creation is part of the magic too. ✨

P.S. If you’re curious, yes, this Agatha-inspired work will eventually lead to finished pieces… and maybe a few surprises along the way. Stay tuned 💜
